In 1939 Pio Anselmi opened a small shoe machinery workshop in Legnano. The great step that led to what Anselmi S.r.l. is today dates back to the 1950s.

After the war, Pio Anselmi decided to venture into the small crane production market. In those years, the company supplied the large companies in the Milan hinterland area.

Over the years, focusing on quality and efficiency, the standard production of small hoists for lifting has been joined by the special handling systems to order.

As a result of the increase in the size and number of machineries produced, Anselmi S.r.l. moved in 1981 to San Vittore Olona on an area of ​​more than 8000 square meters.
